His passion for SMEs inspired him to establish the 3S CFO Group and later The Virtual CFO Group Australia, to help SME business owners better manage their performance and achieve their goals. Colin is a pioneer, always learning, evolving, and sharing his knowledge with clients, staff, and aspiring finance professionals. His dedication continues to drive positive outcomes for businesses across various industries.
Matthew joined Colin as a partner in the Virtual CFO Group at the end of 2023. Originally from South Africa, he has lived and worked in Australia since 2019. Matthew is a CIMA, CGMA, and CPA with 14 years of experience in business partnering and other senior finance and management roles. Before discovering his passion for serving SMEs as a virtual CFO, he honed his skills in manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and other industries. Matthew is dedicated to helping SME business owners succeed and values the opportunity to be part of their journey.
Karen is a senior bookkeeper with over 20 years of experience and counting and possesses extensive expertise in accounting principles, payroll, and bookkeeping. She excels in critical thinking and problem-solving, demonstrating integrity, transparency, and strong communication skills. Karen stays current with changes in the regulatory environment, ATO rules, WorkCover, and superannuation. She ensures that any factor affecting your team’s remuneration is expertly managed. Graeme has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, including 18 years with IBM, where he led development for numerous collaboration and workflow applications. He holds several Lotus Notes development accreditations. Since joining us 5 years ago, Graeme has been instrumental in creating sophisticated, market-leading models and workflows that surpass “off-the-shelf” alternatives in both functionality and cost.
